Scene 1

Some places can only be reached at the right moment. Noirmoutier is one of them.

Passage du Gois is one of France's most extraordinary roads — a causeway revealed only at low tide, stretching across the seabed before the Atlantic gradually claims it again.

Along the shoreline, we experience the traditions of the Atlantic coast — oysters, shellfish gathering and landscapes shaped by the tides.

The day continues on Noirmoutier: cycling through salt marshes, pine forests and charming villages of white houses and blue shutters.

Scene 2

Quiberon — where Brittany feels at its most elemental.

The journey begins along the spectacular Côte Sauvage, where rugged cliffs, Atlantic waves and endless horizons shape the landscape.

From there, we sail to Belle-Île-en-Mer. The crossing itself becomes part of the experience: wind in the sails, the sound of the sea and the feeling of leaving the mainland behind. During the crossing, the skipper begins an old Breton sea song. One by one, the passengers join in, while the wind fills the sails and the Atlantic stretches endlessly around the boat.

By the time the island appears on the horizon, the pace has already changed.

Belle-Île is known for its dramatic coastline, hidden coves, walking trails and the extraordinary light that has inspired generations of artists.

As evening approaches, sailing boats return to the harbour and the waterfront comes alive with the quiet rhythm of island life.

This is Brittany at its most authentic: powerful, beautiful and deeply connected to the Atlantic.
